Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Special welcome at airport and transfer to hotel. Check in amidst a special welcome with Lama musicians and a welcome drink.

In the afternoon we take sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Old city, including Kumari Temple, Hanuman Dhoka Palace and Kasthamandap. We then proceed to Swoyambhunath Stupa.

Traditional welcome dinner at Krishnarpan restaurant of Dwarika’s Heritage hotel.

Day 02 : Kathmandu
A full day of sightseeing to take in the important historical and cultural attractions of the Valley.
We visit Patan City, the medieval Malla era city of arts & crafts. The city boasts Hindu temples and Buddhist monasteries and Royal Palaces from the medieval Malla period.

Lunch at Baber Mahal Revisited, an old Rana Palace mews converted to a tourist hubbub of souvenir shops, restaurants and bars. A typical Nepalese fare of the old Rana rulers (1847-1951) will be served in the Baithak restaurant.

After lunch we visit the city of Bhaktapur, the best restored of the mediaeval royal cities of the valley. The sightseeing tour comprises the famous “Golden Gate”, “Palace of 55 Windows” and the “Nyatapola Temple” the valley’s tallest. We return to our hotel.

Evening we visit Thamel, the tourist hubbub of Kathmandu for souvenir hunting. Dinner in the “Garden of Dreams” a recently restored turn-of the-century Palatial Garden with an excellent restaurant.
    
Day 03 : Rafting/Chitwan
Leave very early morning for Charaudi, the rafting put-in-point which takes about two hours drive from Kathmandu. Arrive Charaudi. Meet raft crew. After the raft is properly rigged the tip leader River-guide will give the safety procedure talk and hand the life vest to individuals. Within the whole day we will encounter several big and small rapids: on the Colorado river rating scale these will be rated from 3 to 7. (Colorado Rating 1- 10, 1 for easy and 10 for most difficult). Freshly cooked lunch will be served at the river bank.
Proceed to Royal Chitwan National Park and check in at resort.

Day 04 : Chitwan
Safari activities at the park include wildlife viewing from elephant back, jungle walks, bird-watching, Landrover drives, river safaris, elephant camp visits, wildlife viewing and photographing from machans (blinds). Every evening a slide show explains more fully about the flora and fauna of the National Park. Experienced naturalists escort all wildlife activities.

 Wildlife in Chitwan includes the greater one-horned rhinoceros, spotted deer, hog deer, sambar deer and barking deer as well as a wide variety of bird life. With a bit of luck, there are always the chance of glimpsing the leopard, sloth bear and Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 05 : Pokhara
After breakfast we take a scenic drive to Pokhara, the lakeside town and Nepal's second most important tourist destination after Kathmandu. We arrive after a drive of 4 hours and check in at your resort offering panoramic Himalayan views. Rest of the afternoon for relaxation at the resort.

Day 06 : Pokhara
First half of the day we visit interesting monuments and sites around Pokhara including the Seti Gorge, Old town, Tibetan Refugee Center and International Mountain Museum. Lunch in Hotel.
Afternoon visit Fewa Lake. Boating can be arranged. Dinner in a lakeside restaurant.
    
Day 07 : Pokhara - Nagarkot or Dhulikhel
After breakfast we fly back to Kathmandu. The flight is short (25 minutes) but spectacular. Upon arrival we take a transfer to hilltop resort at Nagarkot or Dhulikhel. Check in at your resort offering spectacular mountain views.   

Lunch.
Sunset Himalayan panoramic views. Farewell Dinner in resort.
    
Day 08 : Departure from Kathmandu
Early morning Himalayan sunrise views. After breakfast, we check out of the resort and drive to international airport for departure flight.
